Job Description

A Human Resources (HR) Administrative Assistant is a professional who handles the daily administrative and HR duties of an organization. They assist HR leaders with recruitment, record maintenance and payroll processing, and provide clerical support to all employees.

We are looking to employ an HR administrative assistant with outstanding administrative and communication skills. An HR administrative assistant is expected to be a conceptual thinker with superb organizational and time management skills. You must be reliable and should accurately follow instructions with the ability to multitask and acclimatize in a fast-paced environment.

HR Administrative Assistant Responsibilities:

  • – Support all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests.
  • – Maintain digital and electronic records of employees.
  • – Assist with the recruitment process by identifying candidates, performing reference checks and issuing employment contracts.

Bookkeeper

Job Description

We are currently seeking an entry-level Bookkeeper for a growing healthcare company in New Braunfels, TX.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • – Managing accounts payable/receivable, preparing checks, cash receipts, general journal entries and related expenditure vouchers.
  • – Creating and receiving purchase orders in SAGE accounting system
  • – Receiving cash and credit card receipts and maintaining cash control records.

Billing Specialist

Job Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities

  • – Manage and respond to claim on hold and assigned tasks.
  • – Manage and upload incoming mail money and EOB’s.
  • – Answer billing questions from staff members and patients.
  • – Enters information necessary for insurance claims such as patient, insurance ID, diagnosis and treatment codes and modifiers, and provider information.
  • – Ensures claim information is complete and accurate.
  • – Provides necessary information to collection agencies for delinquent or past due accounts.
  • – May perform “soft” collections for patient past due accounts.
  • – This may include contacting and notifying patients via phone or mail.
  • – Follows HIPAA guidelines in handling patient information.
  • – May periodically create insurance or patient aging reports using the medical practice billing software. The reports are used to identify unpaid insurance claims or patient accounts.
  • – Understands managed care authorizations and limits to coverage such as the number of visits. This is encountered often when billing for specialties.
  • – May have to verify patient benefits eligibility and coverage.
  • – Ability to look up ICD 9 diagnosis and CPT treatment codes from online service or using traditional coding references.
