What is Dementia?
Dementia is a symptom of an underlying disease or mental illness – it is not a disease itself. Dementia can be a symptom of Alzheimer’s Disease, Parkinson’s Disease, Huntington’s Disease, or other possible mental illnesses. Dementia is most commonly characterized by memory loss, confusion, difficulty completing tasks, and the inability to concentrate among other things.

We provide support and educational resources, treatment of symptoms and management options, and we work closely with our patients to provide understanding and the slow progression of dementia.
